The Intranet project arose from the need to find a solution which could help bring the geographies closer together and streamline communication between all employees.
The solution includes developing My Ascendum, our intranet, based on Office 365 tools, where Yammer plays a key role.
Proof that this project is a success is the incredibly positive feedback we have received from all employees, as well as the feature and recognition we got from SIC Notícias, in their weekly program Exame Informática. The focus of the segment was on the Intranet - My Ascendum, and on its simultaneous implementation worldwide, which was successful and completed on schedule.
This was a giant leap in innovation for the Group, which has its geographies more connected thanks to this platform.
“The Intranet was important to store fixed content that can be accessed by all 1,400 Ascendum employees, anytime, anywhere. Yammer has put us all within a click of each other”, says Ângela Vieira, member of the Group's Executive Board.
“We brought the Office 365 Suite (...) which enables us to process several steps at the same time”, states Rui Galamba, Business and IT Director for the Ascendum Group.
After receiving the “Export & Internationalization” Award promoted by Jornal de Negócios newspaper and Novo Banco (a Portuguese bank), this time our work was recognized for the investment we have been making in new technologies.
