New generation of articulated haulers on their way to Turkey.
Volvo Construction Equipment will deliver 110 A40F articulated haulers to Yildizlar Holding in Turkey - this is the biggest deal ever of articulated haulers made in the “International Region”.
Yildizlar Holding is one of the largest companies in Turkey and its main business area is silver mines, ceramics and energy distribution, for which it has invested heavily in facilities in different regions in Turkey.
The collaboration between Volvo CE and Yildizlar Holding began early in 2010, when the company bought 50 machines from Volvo CE, among which 10 were A40E, that were tested, for a year, directly on various Yildizlar Holding sites.
Then, Yildizlar Holding decided to buy 110 A40F articulated haulers and the contract has already been signed. The new articulated haulers will be delivered throughout 2011 and will be used on different sites all over the country.
The agreement is an example of the good collaboration and team work of all parties involved, Volvo CE and ASC Turk. From sales to financing, from customer support to the factory, everyone contributed to meeting the customer's expectations - a job well done!
