Ascendum was awarded a “Ruban d'Honneur” by the European Business Awards (EBA) Judges, which puts it in the “Judges’ Awards” final, and it was also the Portuguese company most voted for by the public, which gives it the title of “National Public Champion” (Portugal) and a place in the final for the overall “European Public Champion” award.
Having reached the final of the “Judges’ Awards” means that, from a total of 709 companies that applied, Ascendum was considered, by a pan-European panel composed of well-known personalities from business, academic and political communities, as one of the 110 most competitive European businesses in terms of growth, innovation, expansion and business ethics.
The judges will now select the winning companies in the various categories in the competition through a process of interviews, where Ascendum will be competing for the “Business of the Year Award with Turnover of 150M€ or Higher”.
Final voting takes place on the EBA site until April 16th.
After the “National Public Champions” have been selected, in other words the company most voted for in each of the 33 nations participating in the competition, the overall “European Public Champion” is then chosen, where the national champions will be competing for the grand prize of “European Business of the Year”.
As “National Champion”, Ascendum is in the running for this coveted award, with final voting by the public taking place until April 16th at http://www.businessawardseurope.com/vote/category/portugal/12564.
