Ascendum moves upwards the second position in the Portuguese Companies Internationalization Ranking

Friday, November 17, 2017

The ranking that classifies Portuguese companies according to their internationalization degree and process (RIEP*), ranked Ascendum second, two positions higher comparing to 2016.

This ranking and study analyses which Portuguese companies have the best internationalization practices. The overall results indicate that some of these companies are still far from using knowledge management as a tool for creating international value. On a positive note, it also shows that some of the most internationalized companies absorb better innovations generated abroad. Knowledge management and organizational learning enhance the flow of innovation and are a source of competitive advantage for the parent company and its subsidiaries.

As we have been communicating, Ascendum has been continuously strengthening its mechanisms, policies and incentives to transfer knowledge among all the Group's subsidiaries and companies.

This ranking rise and consequent second place shows that we are on the right track and motivates us even more to continue to grow. When we share information, we share knowledge and we empower our growth.
