Ascendum is again the Hosting Dealer of the WRX race in Barcelona this weekend

This weekend, October 29th and 30th, the CE Dealer Team heads to Spain, for the penultimate round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at the classic Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit. And Ascendum is again the Hosting Dealer and Gold Sponsor of the CE Dealer Team, in partnership with Volvo CE - The Official Track Building Partner - , in this 100% electric race.
With two races to go until the end of the 2022 season, the CE Dealer Team is in third place in the team championship. As for its two drivers, Niclas Grönholm is only three points short of second place and Klara Andersson is currently seventh.
The team now heads to the classic Barcelona-Catalunya circuit in Spain for a special race on an all asphalt F1 circuit, that will be 100% electric, as this time there will be no other categories competing.
Ascendum and Volvo CE have, once more, prepared a highspeed experience for the many guests that will attend the race on Saturday and Sunday, including Customers, Ascendum Service Technicians, and other team members and partners.
The program for these exciting two days will include many events besides the race:
- An electric mobility exhibition, celebrating the fact that the race is totally electric
- A Volvo machines exhibition
- An Excavator Challenge
- A kids mini excavator sand-pit
- A fun zone for guests
- Change Starts Here and Go Electric seminars
- Meet the CE Dealer Team, Klara and Niclas, in Paddock
As we are approaching the championship 2022 season end, this will be, certainly an important race for CE Dealer team and for Ascendum, that is also breaking new ground with this sponsorship in partnership with Volvo CE. An experience that, so far is very positive, given the amazing feed-back that we are receiving from Customers, from Volvo CE and from Ascendum Teams.
It has been also a unique opportunity to present to our customers our shared vision of a more sustainable future and therefore, contribute to accelerate the electric transformation in the construction equipment industry.
Join us fot this FIA World RX race at Catalunya, that will start on Saturday 29th October, with round eight, followed by round seven on Sunday. It will be broadcasted globally – as well as through the RX+ online streaming platform.
