Welcome to our Integrated Quality, Environmental, Ethics and Integrity Management Policy


At Ascendum Portugal, we guide our activities by our commitment to operational excellence, environmental sustainability, and integrity in all corporate relationships, following solid principles of ethics, legal compliance, and corporate responsibility.

Our Commitment

  • Adopt Environmental Protection measures by controlling environmental aspects with the most significant environmental impacts, namely the production of hazardous waste and the consumption of natural and energy resources;
  • Continuously improve the environmental performance of the services provided.
  • Comply with all applicable compliance obligations and/or those subscribed to by the organization, implementing measures aimed at preventing pollution;
  • Ensure training and awareness for all employees to ensure their involvement in the Environmental Management System and the adoption of environmentally sound behaviors.
  • Disclose the adopted Integrated Management Policy to customers, suppliers, and stakeholders so that everyone is aware of their responsibilities regarding the commitments made and is aware of ASCENDUM Portugal’s environmental impacts.

Quality and Environmental Certifications (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001)

In the development of our technical service activities for machinery and trucks, we maintain certification of our Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). These establish a set of principles and guidelines aimed at continuous improvement, environmental impact control, and strict compliance with regulatory requirements.

Corruption and Related Offences Risk Prevention Plan

The National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2020-2024, approved by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 37/2021 of April 6, as well as Decree-Law No. 109-E/2021 of December 9, reinforced the need for the entities covered to adopt and implement a Corruption and Related Offences Risk Prevention Plan (PPR).

Code of Ethics and Conduct

Our corporate culture is based on the principles of honesty, fairness in negotiation, and respect for applicable legislation. The Code of Ethics and Conduct defines non-negotiable standards of behaviour, guiding our employees and partners to make commitments that protect Ascendum’s reputation and promote mutual trust.
