Ascendum Agro is developing a new business area and has opened a position for a Parts Purchasing and Stock Technician in São João da Talha.

Opportunity Profile

This team member will report to the respective Brand Director. The role involves executing the procurement processes for parts and materials necessary for business operations, supporting reference identification and ensuring follow-up until final delivery. The position holder ensures the quality of supplied products, the company’s internal procedures, and compliance with applicable legal standards. They will monitor parts stock, ensuring adequate levels to avoid shortages or surpluses, in coordination with the dealer network. They conduct periodic inventories and prepare analytical reports on purchasing processes and parts stock management, proposing and implementing practices that increase operational efficiency. They may also perform some warehouse tasks, namely receiving and dispatching materials.

Main Responsibilities

• Previous experience in similar roles.
• Product knowledge or machinery mechanics to facilitate component and parts catalogue identification and consultation.
• Completed secondary education, equivalent vocational training, or higher education.
• Familiarity with stock management systems and tools (preferred).
• Negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good command of Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Ease working in a team and collaborating with different stakeholders.
• Should have a proactive attitude and be problem-solving oriented.
• Responsible, organised, and detail-oriented.
• Learning ability and adaptability to a dynamic and growing work environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
• Proficiency in IT tools from a user perspective.
• Driving Licence.
