New brand Ascendum Auto

The creation of a new brand with more expression and autonomy aims to clarify the offer of this business segment, fostering a more targeted communication with a strong commercial character.

As part of the strategy to develop the car business at Ascendum, in addition to the investments we have made in image renewal, according to the parameters of Volvo Cars, we decided to invest in new facilities for the Volvo concession in Lisbon.

Ascendum’ s brand today has increased public recognition in Coimbra, Leiria and Viseu also due to our strong presence in the Portuguese central region for 58 years.

However, in Lisbon, the perception of the Ascendum brand is very much linked to the Construction and Industrial Equipment sales, having no connection to our car business. As such, we felt the need to create an own identity for Ascendum Auto, and appropriate communication which will certainly contribute to a clarification of the commercial offer, focusing on sales leveraging in Lisbon, but also in Coimbra, Leiria and Viseu.
